Job Title  Corrosion Engineer Minimum Job requirements 15+ Years Selection criteria interview Preferred major study in the bachelor degree   BS, MS, or PhD degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or Corrosion Science Specify work experience  Corrosion engineer Preferred certificate  NACE Specialist Certification NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist NACE Senior Internal Corrosion Technologist NACE Corrosion technologist Certification API-580/581 API RP 571 - Damages Mechanisms NACE Internal Corrosion Technologist Certification NACE Basic Corrosion NACE CP Level II 5 NACE CIP Level I Preferred skills BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Corrosion Science with minimum of (15) years of experience in processing in Oil/Gas Industry, material science and metrology, different NDT technology and their applications and knowledge in engineering aspect of welding.   Strong knowledge of the international standards and codes NACE, ASME, API and ASTM especially inspection and corrosion standards such as API-571, API-580/581, API-570 and API-510.  And also, holding a valid NACE Specialist Certification or NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist, NACE Coating Level II or combination of NACE Corrosion Technologist, API-571 and NACE CP level II.                                                   Should have working experience in running asset integrity programs in petroleum or petrochemical operating facility.  Ability to look at asset integrity programs in holistic way and drive their performance. Should be able have good analytical skills to look deeper than collected data and resolve problem in early stages.  Shall have very good communication skills to connect with team members from different disciplines, since corrosion challenges resolutions will normally involves multidisciplinary team.   Fresh graduate or experience  Experience
