Financial Planning Sales Manager

Role Overview
As the Financial Planning Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve the sales targets of NMG Financial Planning. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders whilst ensuring the overall success of the sales function. As sales manager, you will have a significant impact on the company’s growth and success. Your leadership skill, ability to build strong client relationships will be instrumental in driving revenue and achieving the organisation’s goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve NMG Financial Planning’s goals and objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities, target segments, and develop strategies to penetrate and expand the client base.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and developments.
Sales Team Leadership:
- Lead, inspire and motivate the team to consistently meet or exceed targets.
- Recruit, train and develop sales professionals providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Set clear targets and KPIs, monitor individual and team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Assist with onboarding of clients of new recruits and guiding them into the NMG way of financial planning
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration and accountability within the sales team.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Engage in strategic sales activities, including attending client meetings, negotiations and presentations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, resolving issues and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Establish, implement and manage effective sales processes, methodologies and systems to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor sales pipeline, track key metrics and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Utilise sales data and analytics to identify trends, assess performance and recommend improvements.
Industry Expertise and Professional Development:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations and best practices related to financial planning and sales.
- Continuously enhance your own knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Certified Financial Planner designation .
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the financial planning or wealth management industry.
- Strong understanding of financial planning products and serviceTop of Form

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Have the ability to influence and lead a national team
- Results-orientated with a focus on driving revenue growth
- Proficiency in sales CRM software
