KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development: Internship Programme 2022 / 2023

 

KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Department of Social Development is contributing towards skills development initiatives for the youth in the province by providing opportunities to unemployed graduates to gain workplace experience in various work disciplines.

 

Applications are therefore invited from unemployed graduates to participate in the Internship Programme that will run for a period of 24 months contract, which will provide them with valuable work experience and increase their opportunities towards employment.  

 

The department will pay a monthly stipend of R6172.00 to the Interns.

  • Candidates must be unemployed graduates residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
  • Unemployed graduates must have completed tertiary qualifications (certificated through graduation) which is a three-year (3) Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma from a recognized University or College
  • Have never participated in an Internship Programme from National, Provincial and Local government before.
  • They must be prepared to relocate to any of the offices listed above at own costs.
  • Candidates must be computer literate, prepared to undergo a selection process that will include a structured interview.
