Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Engineer to join our team In this role you will provides technical support to project management across all disciplines to coordinate the development and implementation of the engineering portions of assigned projects. .

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Technical Review of improvement plans, technical specifications, construction estimates, design calculations for compliance with approved design criteria and good civil engineering practice.

  • Provide support for the Private Projects Section in reviewing the design drawings and coordinating with other sections.

  • Assists Senior Project Manager in the preparation of requests for proposals prepares and/or reviews contract documents develops scopes of projects. Review change orders and contract modifications for technical accuracy and requirement.

  • Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of the client.

  • Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.

  • Establish the program implementation requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.

  • Responsible for executing project plans in coordination with key subordinates after careful assessment of project execution plan.

  • Make recommendations to create project teams capable of completing effective and quality work.

  • Work with the key project individuals to devise the execute actions plans to rectify potential conflicts, coordination issues and delays.

  • Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through the application of the Quality Assurance process.

  • Monitors the reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions.

  • Establishes weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.

  • Performs other project management functions as required by Management

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized University with 4 years of postgraduate experience.

  • Basic knowledge of engineering and construction disciplines.

  • The ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is essential.

  • Computer literate and proficient with the industry standard and design software for engineering projects and MS Office package.
