My client is a well-established global law firm with offices rapidly growing in Riyadh. As they expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Saudi National Projects Finance Lawyer to join the legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the success of the organisation and play a key role in the legal strategy. We are looking for an experienced Projects Finance Lawyer with a strong background in Saudi Arabian law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance law, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to navigate complex financial transactions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Legal Analysis and Advice:
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice on various legal aspects related to projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide legal guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Contract Drafting and Review:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of project-related contracts, including but not limited to, agreements with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all contracts comply with relevant legal standards and regulations.
Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess legal risks associated with projects and propose risk mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with project teams to implement effective risk management practices and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting projects.
  • Advise project teams on compliance issues and assist in developing strategies to maintain compliance with applicable laws.
Dispute Resolution:
  • Provide support in the resolution of legal disputes arising during the course of projects.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary and represent the company's interests in dispute resolution processes.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and organized project-related legal documentation.
  • Develop and implement processes for efficient document management and retrieval.
Training and Education:
  • Conduct training sessions for project teams on legal aspects relevant to their projects.
  • Keep team members informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, with a focus on projects finance or a related field.
  • Admitted to practice law in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, project finance, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.
