Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Relationship Development: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, from C-suite executives to everyday users, to identify and address their payment and cash flow management needs.
- Client Solutions: Provide tailored transaction and payment solutions to clients, ensuring they receive optimal support for their business operations.
- Account Planning & Service Management: Engage in formalised client service reviews and develop account strategies, focusing on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to grow client portfolios.
- Documentation & Presentations: Prepare professional documentation, including pricing proposals, solution scoping documentation, on boarding materials, and slide decks for client presentations.
- Revenue Growth: Conduct annual pricing reviews and negotiations, drive revenue growth through cross and up-sell initiatives, and manage account profitability.
- Client Retention: Proactively manage client retention through regular service reviews, addressing any revenue or retention risks to maintain a strong client portfolio.
- Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the South African payments industry and inter-bank clearing system to provide informed and competitive solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B Strategic Sales, particularly with medium to large corporate clients.
- In-depth understanding of the South African Payment Industry, transactional banking, eCommerce services, and client’s payment and reconciliation processes.
- Proven experience in selling and supporting B2B transactional technology and solutions.
- Sales driven.
