Overview We seek an experienced facilities planning specialist to join our Unconventional Resources Engineering & Project Management Department/facilities planning team. The facilities planning team is responsible for gas processing and handling facilities and for planning and development of future unconventional gas development projects to meet the Kingdom’s domestic energy demand.
Facilities Planning group is responsible for the development and coordination of the capital program development for unconventional resources. The Facilities Planning group is responsible for coordinating and planning for new facilities and major modification of existing facilities in support of unconventional gas development program, and assists in the technical development and economic justification of its Capital Programs and Budgets. Key Responsibilities Conduct feasibility studies on major additions/upgrade to gas processing and NGL facilitiesPerform evaluations required to establish and support long term business strategies related to gas and NGL facilitiesSupervises and coordinates overall planning, control and appraisal of the project as defined by the approved scope.Prepare conceptual designsPrepare written project justifications for presentation to executive/Corporate ManagementSupervises, coordinates and directs preparation of the budget briefs, budget estimates, expenditure requests, economic analysis and authorization for expenditure.Prepare scoping papers to define capital projects covering gas processing and NGL facilitiesDevelop facilities/fields master plansInterface with operating organizations, engineering, project management and corporate planningExperience in process simulationsConduct studies to confirm the scoping requirements and justification for major gas investments.Perform system and economic evaluations of existing and potential new gas processing and NGL facilitiesDirect evaluation of major and NGL facilities as performed by othersPrepare and make presentations Corporate Management on gas processing and NGL operations issuesSupervises and coordinates planning to adjust to unanticipated changes in scope, materials and equipment delivery and cost.Mentor young facilities planning engineers for future development to Facilities Planning Consultants positions. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical or equivalent technical field. 15+ Years professional experience - at least 10 years in gas processing and NGL and preferred experience in the field of Shale Gas.
