Aviation Medicine Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join BAE Systems as an Aviation Medicine Specialist based in Dhahran.

BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. For such training this role requires the following:

Skills and Experience Registration with a recognised national medical accreditation body as a doctor. A higher degree in aviation medicine, registered either in home country and/or with the Saudi Health Council if required. Must be medically fit to the standard of A4G1 - passenger in high performance aircraft. Extensive full-time experience in the practice of aviation medicine, ideally military aviation medicine. Hypobaric chamber instructor experience desirable.
