My client is a well-established global law firm with offices rapidly growing in Riyadh. As they expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Saudi National Projects Lawyer to join the legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the success of the organisation and play a key role in our legal strategy. We are looking for an experienced Projects Lawyer with a strong background in Saudi Arabian corporate law. The successful candidate will have a passion for navigating complex legal landscapes and a proven track record of providing strategic legal advice in project-based environments.
Responsibilities:
- Legal Analysis and Advice:
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice on various legal aspects related to projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide legal guidance throughout the project lifecycle. - Contract Drafting and Review:
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of project-related contracts, including but not limited to, agreements with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure that all contracts comply with relevant legal standards and regulations.
- Risk Management:
Identify and assess legal risks associated with projects and propose risk mitigation strategies.
Work closely with project teams to implement effective risk management practices and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance:
Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting projects.
Advise project teams on compliance issues and assist in developing strategies to maintain compliance with applicable laws.
- Dispute Resolution:
Provide support in the resolution of legal disputes arising during the course of projects.
Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary and represent the company's interests in dispute resolution processes. - Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized project-related legal documentation.
Develop and implement processes for efficient document management and retrieval. - Training and Education:
Conduct training sessions for project teams on legal aspects relevant to their projects.
Keep team members informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, with a focus on projects or a related field.
- Admitted to practice law in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, project finance, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.
