About the Role
As an Assembly, Repair, Maintenance and Overhaul (ARMO) Electrician you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform the visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform all test with minimal instruction. You will provide technical support across the business whilst complying with HS&E policies.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams and understand the use of tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems and identify and correct electrical problems.
- Install and mount electrical equipment, including conduit, subpanels, cable tray, circuit breakers, wiring, and junction boxes and cut/pull cables and cable termination .
- Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Ability to assembly/disassembly, adjust and install electrical materials to meet tolerance and product operating requirements.
- Ability to perform testing such as Functional and Continuity test
- Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations
- Ownership for completion of QC Sheets, manufacturing forms, completion work forms
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years
• experience in packaging lines - Experience in electrical activities such as assembly cables, cable gland, testing, electrical connection, and cut/pull cables and cables termination
- Experience in electrical activities such as assembly cable conduit & laying cable tray, electrical and cut/pull cables.
- Understanding of electrical systems and component
- Knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of packaging drawings read and understand.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective gloves and safety glass etc.
- Deftness and attention to detail
- Proficient in English
