We are now looking for a Solution Architect who will propel the growth of our technical operations in KSA.
As Solution Architect, you will facilitate delivery of robust, secure, efficient and well-built digital solutions across a range of technologies, defining development scope and requirements alongside a local Technical Director, and in collaboration with Monstarlab Technology, UX, Strategy and Design teams. More specific responsibilities will include: Aligning potential solution maps with Monstarlab’s overall strategic direction and regional goalsTranslating business needs into executable technical designs and roadmapsEnsuring that different levels of Monstarlab stakeholders maintain clear understanding of our solution offeringsConsistently demonstrating technical craftsmanship in detailed architecture diagrams, data models, mockups and journey mapsSurveying internal and external systems landscapes to enable viable integrationsDriving development and the establishment of Monstarlab coding standards, quality control, testing and process guidelines within the local team structureReviewing technical solutions and proposals, evaluating alternative approaches and supporting the development of prototypes as well as technical/functional specifications
Our ideal candidate is an experienced team leader and seasoned software engineer unafraid to test the limits of technology and engineering. As our ideal Solution Architect, you possess: 10+ years’ experience in software development, including leading teams on cloud-based and/or scalable digital solution builds for mobile, web and backendExperience with back-end development, including building RESTful APIs in a widely used programming language (Java, Node.js, .Net, etc.) Experience with mobile development, including React Native, iOS, and Android.Experience with Front-end technologies, including modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, Angular, etc.)Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions, GitLab CI/CD Git, git flow), third party libraries and a range of third-party servicesExperience with databases, both SQL and NoSQLExperience with Quality Assurance methodologiesUtmost confidence communicating at a professional level in English, as well as being fluent in ArabicYears of practical application of the Agile methodology and the ability to coach and inspire others in this approachA keen interest in mentoring/developing those around you and fostering an office environment defined by clear, open communicationThe cool head and social ease that makes you client-compatible and able to pitch ideas on all fronts, an effective representative of technical expertsA passion for open-source development and a work approach characterized by empathy, confident and consistent decision-making, and a love of problem solvingKnowledge of the challenges that accompany cross-office and/or digital agency product development and project managementExperience with any major cloud services provider (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
