The position involves efficiently managingLocal Content (LC) activities adhering to defined policies andprocedures to achieve departmental operational plans anddevelopments. To implement and monitor Local Content withincontract execution processes starting from the RFP stage untilclosure of the contract to ensure optimizing Local Content duringthe execution activities.
How Youll Make anImpact
  • The individual is responsible for overseeingall local content requirements initiatives across the businessunit.
  • The implementation plan for the LC willbe monitored and reported to the business unit to ensure meetingthe minimum committed score.
  • Create astrategy to meet the upcoming LC requirements.
  • The business unit is mandated to selfreport annual andquarterly contracts in accordance with LC requirements with theprocess approved by a thirdparty auditor at the end of the contractthis activity will be carried out by this role.
  • Continues dialog with supporting function to improvetraining activities and other factors to enhance the LC scorefurther.
  • Support the evaluation of annualperformance of entities and conduct the needed research to providerecommendations to reward or penalize accordingly.
  • Lead the activities related to supporting the governmententities in reviewing the proposals submitted by the bidders.
  • Lead the activities related to updating andupgrading the data acquisition processes addition or exceptionrequests.
  • Lead the activities related tosetting minimum Local Content threshold for the different types ofprojects and involve different internal or externa stakeholders asrequired.

What you Bring
  • Bachelors degree in economics Management Engineering orany related field.
  • Sensitive and responsiveto the needs of different religious ethnic tribal and culturalgroups.
  • Proven integrity and high personalstandards of behaviour.
  • Experience in workingin a multinational and multicultural environment as well as proveninterpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage withdiverse audiences.
  • Relationship Management /Communication Proficient
  • Risk Assessment& Management Proficient
  • ProcessDevelopment Proficient
  • Data Collection andAnalysis Proficient
  • Supplier / VendorManagement Proficient
  • Reporting Proficient
  • Excellent command of English
