Job Summary

We areseeking a Completion Engineering Specialist to join the JRAKEngineering and SGNA Engineering divisions of Well CompletionOperation & Production Engineering Department. The JRAK andSGNA Engineering Production Engineering divisions are responsiblefor maximizing the efficiency and output of This Companyunconventional assets by employing cuttingedge techniques andtechnologies to optimize production processes enhance reservoirperformance and reduce operational cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead production optimization solutions forexisting producing wells and future development areas.
  • Conduct routine well surveillance diagnose problem wellsand proficiently implement downhole remediation practices. Preparefield operational procedures.
  • Collaborate withthe drilling team on completion proposals installation snubbingunit operation and tubing installation and retrieval.
  • Conduct trial tests of new advanced well completiontechnologies and provide technical support for designing advancedwell completions.
  • Monitor daily operations andprovide support for well surveillance.
  • Lead agroup of engineers in specific tasks and studies such as new fielddevelopment trial tests of new technologies and participate incompany engineering standard reviews and the development of youngprofessionals.
  • Collaborate with the drillingdepartment and frac service provider on wellhead transition barrierrequirements and design fitforpurpose solutions.
  • Plan and program field/well opportunities developsurveillance plans and provide support for businessplanning.
  • Take responsibility for well andfield completion performance and integrity modeling using softwaresuch as WellCat.

Requirements:

  • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
  • Hold a Bachelors degreein petroleum or mechanical engineering from a recognized andapproved program.
  • Possess at least fifteenyears of experience in production engineering and productionoptimization including a minimum of ten years in unconventionalproduction engineering and optimization.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in unconventional behaviorswell performance analysis and fluid dynamics.
  • Bring experience in unconventional resources orHPHT/tight gas & oil wells with a good understanding ofhydraulic fracturing and its impact on flowback/productionpractices.
  • Showcase a proven record ofsuccessful wellhead and downhole completion design optimization andtroubleshooting.
  • Exhibit strong expertise inmaterial and metallurgical selection failure analysis andinspection.
  • Have the ability to assist in thedevelopment and implementation of flow assurance techniquesprograms and operational procedures.
  • Possessknowledge of industry regulations safety practices andstandards.
