Job Summary
We areseeking a Business Development Specialist to join East Hub Divisionof the LTC Business & Project Development Department to set upthe Linear Programming (LP) and economics model 3rd party Build OwnOperate and Maintain (BOOM) evaluation model project financing aswell as interface management amongst groups with technicalexecution and commercial SMEs. Business Development Specialist willbe reporting to the Manager and work closely with modeling andoptimization engineer and other project members.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure alignment between the details andbasis/assumptions of the economics model and the Linear Programming(LP) model.
- Provide the necessary economicsparameters including Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate ofReturn (IRR).
- Facilitate internal alignmentamong shareholders and concerned parties regarding economicsparameters.
- Develop the economics for ValueAddand Capital Efficiency components and furnish the required detailsfor conducting a commercial assessment.
- Possess the capability to assess Chemical Competitivenessand offer insights on options to enhance overalleconomics.
- Establish and evaluate variousmarket scenarios to support and enhance the projectsvalue.
- Define and participate in Case Studydeliverables identifying key optimization initiatives necessary forthe overall facilities scope cost estimates schedule and trackingthe development of Gate deliverables required for managementapproval. Identify items that require further support to meettarget deadlines.
- Manage the interface andinteraction between the Government Engagement GHG (Greenhouse Gas)Abatement Finance Readiness Workstreams and Project DevelopmentGroup.
- Collaborate with the GovernmentEngagement Workstream to determine the economic impact within theKingdom including job creation and GDP and update these figures ineach phase while securing stakeholder alignment with concernedparties.
Requirements:
- This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
- Hold at least aBachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized andapproved program.
- Possess a minimum of 15years of experience with a specific focus on the Refining &Chemicals business.
- Have prior experience inLinear Programming (LP) and Economics Modeling.
- Demonstrate expertise in PIMS LP (Process Integration andModeling System) knowledge and experience to develop and modify newor existing LP models.
- Be skilled in EconomicModel development and analyses.
- Haveexperience in new business development especially in terms of 3rdparty BuildOwnOperate (BOO) or BuildOwnOperateTransfer (BOOT)evaluation and selection processes.
- Possessexperience in execution commercial aspects and project financingwithin the industry.
- Have a background ininfrastructure 3rd party collaboration and interfacemanagement.
- Bring technical interfacemanagement experience to the role.
