IT Technician

TheIT Technician will assist with the Audio & Visualresponsibilities under the supervision of the IT Manager tofacilitate A/V production/event needs. As well as assisting to ITManager in various assignments related to the function of the MediaServices. Additionally will be responsible for the operation andmaintenance of audio & visual equipment s/system byperforming the followingduties:

Performthe preventive maintenance of A/V equipment using availableresources.

Operationalissues of projectors DVD players laptops computers video camerasstreaming equipment and sound recordingequipment

MaintainA/V system of Classrooms Lecture halls Seminar halls MainAuditorium Housing and Overall premises of all mediaissues.

Responsiblefor speakers microphones wireless microphones mixing boardsamplifiers internet streaming equipment and occasionally assistivelisteningdevices.

Provideservices support personnel and follow the employees andevents.

Installsclassroom technology equipment following collegestandards.

Trainsinstructors staff and student workers in the proper use of varioustypes of instructional media equipment and demonstrate theoperation of suchequipment.

Printersand Phone Installation./Software and driversInstallation.

SolvingSoftware / Hardware issues /Email and Internetissues

ActiveRegistration Membership in SCE (Saudi Counsel ofEngineers).

12 years ofexperience.

TheTechnical Services Specialistmust be familiar with orwilling to learn about sound equipment mixing boards and many typesof video equipment.

The Specialistshould be reliable andflexible to work as many events as possible throughout the year.

Thecandidate should possess basic customer service skills. Thecandidate should be a problem solver who is capable of written andoral procedures and policies.

Thecandidate must be a confident selfstarter who desires to improvethe support provided by the Media Services team.
