Thecandidate for this role is an experienced engineering technicianthat is a critical thinker, problem solver, and team player.

WorkRequirements

• Mustbe able to troubleshoot PCBA s and systematic problems, effectivelycommunicate and escalate issues and be able to work well underpressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
  
• Experience performing functional tests on printed circuit boardassemblies (PCBA) and final test products in support of productiontest requirements and engineering prototyping.
  
• Must bevery experienced in the use of oscilloscopes, signal generators,network analyzers, multimeters, etc. for tests and measurements.
  
• Must beexperienced in reading schematics of electrical and subsystems,engineering drawings, identify build errors including PCB,components, harnesses, and workmanship issues.
  
• Be able tounderstand and execute engineering test procedures, debugging andtroubleshooting at the component level on a PCB/PCBA andidentifying issues with analog and digital electrical circuits.
  
• Must havesolid experience in soldering and reworking SMT & throughhole components to meet engineering specifications and IPCJ-STD.

• Performdiagnosis, rework, and repair of PCBA s, final test of productassemblies prior topackaging.
  
• Participatein technical design reviews for product test specifications andrecommend corrective action or designimprovements.

• Createdocumentation for tests andassemblies.
  
• Abilityto fabricate test fixtures, test boards, and solder/remove SMD andthrough hole componentseffectively.
  
• Workin close collaboration with the production department to ensurethat all assemblies are properly tested and calibrated ontime.
  
• Ensureproduct meets order and functionalspecifications.
  
• Assistin the maintenance and calibration of testequipment.
  
• Assistin the development of new ElectronicProducts.
  
• Excellentverbal and written communications skills able to understand andrecord reports, procedures, and status updates; able to communicatedirectly with engineers, manager, and other technicians to ensure ahigh level of technical support. Should be a leader and able totrainothers.
  
• Strongorganizational with meticulous attention todetail.
