Responsibilities

Theideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcareregulations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to workindependently in a fast-paced

• Implementation andmanagement of credentialing and privileging processes across theorganization for all
  

• Ensure that all providercredentials and privileges are current and meet regulatory;
  

• Ownership and managementof provider health plan enrollment process and action
  

• Release information torequesting agencies and public inquiries when required by
  

• Monitor license andcredential expiration dates and advise staff members of requiredrenew by
  

• Ensure the facility andstaff members are maintaining compliance with regulatory andaccrediting
  

• Conduct primary sourceverification for all provider
  

• Maintain provider filesand database
  

• Prepare and submitcredentialing and privileging applications to relevant
  

• Respond to inquiriesfrom providers, staff, payers, and other
  

• Assist with themaintenance of a robust compliance
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Knowledge ofhealthcare regulations and standards, particularly as they relateto healthcare provider credentialing and
  

• Strong organizationaland time management skills to manage the credentialing process formultiple providers across multiple
  

• Excellent written andverbal communication skills to communicate with providers, payers,and other
  

• Attention to detail toensure all credentialing information is accurate and
  

• Ability to workindependently and as part of a
  

• Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice and credentialing
  

Credentials:

• An associates degree in healthcare administration, business administration, ora related field is
  

• 2+ years of experiencein healthcare credentialing and
  

• Certification inhealthcare credentialing is desirable, such as Certified ProviderCredentialing Specialist (CPCS) from the National AssociationMedical Staff Services(NAMSS).
