JobOverview

This position shall beresponsible for managing the working capital liquidity managementshort term investment portfolio and banking relationships.Additionally it shall also be responsible for coordinating with theOpCos regarding treasury activities as per approved investmentpolicy. This position is responsible for financial risk managementand insurance coverage activities.

StrategicResponsibilities

  • Aligndivision goals processes and resource allocation with theorganizational strategy while maintaining awareness of commercialand business objectives.
  • Ensure theaccomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff;
    planning and evaluating organizational unitactivities.
  • Define objectives identifies andevaluates trends and options chooses a course of
    actionand evaluates outcomes.
  • Accomplish financialobjectives by forecasting requirements preparing an annual
    budget scheduling expenditures analyzing variances andinitiating corrective actions.
  • Support withstrategic problems resolution and subjective decisionmaking.

ManagerialResponsibilities

  • Supervisethe entire work done by the team members and making sure it iscompleted on time without any delay.
  • Lead theteam to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation ofresponsibilities and supervising businessoperations.
  • Set the vision and motivation ofthe team in order to achieve the sought objectives
    efficiently.
  • Set appropriate andachievable deadlines.
  • Track and report criticalorganizational unit performance results and escalate and
    negotiate business related issues to seniormanagement.
  • Accomplish staff results bycommunicating job expectations planning monitoring and appraisingjob results.

FunctionalResponsibilities

  • Developstrategy and plans to manage treasuryoperations.
  • Develop short and mediumterm cashflow forecasts on periodic basis.
  • Conductresearch on the shortterms investments and money marketmatters.
  • Coordinate with FP&A to getvisibility on the planned expenditures and support
    communication with vendors and customers on the possiblepayments and receipts.
  • Provide input onintragroup lending options available considering the availabilityof
    funds at the company or its OpCo to optimize thefinancing cost of the overall group.
  • Review thecash position of the company on daily basis and manage the dailyliquidity considering the daily inflow and outflows and report tomanagement.
  • Define cash targets for the company& OpCos and monitor the cash positions against the settargets to ensure achievements of cashtargets.
  • Identify the cash surplus at thecompany & OpCos to create a pool of funds together andinvest in short and medium opportunities as per approved investmentpolicy limits.
  • Process outflow of payments forvendors and employees disbursements etc.
  • ManageLetter of credit (LCs) and letter of guarantees (LGs) fulfillingthe
    documentational requirements bybanks.
  • Manage opening and closing of bankaccounts as per the approved DOA.
  • Build andmaintain relationships with banks and financialinstitutions.
  • Conduct periodic / adhoc meetingswith banks and financial institution to oversee
    relationship management.
  • Operatebanks accounts of the organization and comply with the approvedelectronic banking policy.
  • Maintain adequatedocumentation pertaining to KYC and other documentation as part ofBank Management.
  • Prepare bank accountsreconciliation statements (BRS) on periodicbasis.
  • Identify and investigate theunreconciled items in the BRS and pass the adjusting entries toreconcile the balances.
  • Develop fundingstrategies and execution plans in line with the financialobjectives.
  • Assess the proposed investment andthe need for obtaining external financing including the financingtime period.
  • Coordinate with investment banksproject advisors and project lenders to explore
    availablefinancing options.
  • Review and evaluateavailable debt options and the respective interest costs after
    coordinating and consulting with the relevant financialinstitutions.
  • Evaluate the impact of debtfinancing on the projected financial performance (in
    coordination with FSPMteams).
  • Negotiate debt terms and conditionswith banks / institutions.
  • Recommend suitableoption for financing the projects to support the investmentdecision in line with the debt sourcing policy of thecompany.
  • Complete the documentations andformalities with banks / institutions to source the selected optionof debt financing.
  • Coordinate with therepresentatives of the financial institutions to manage debt
    restructuring.
  • Review the terms andconditions of the debt restructuring agreement to assess its
    alignment with approved fundingstrategies.
  • Ensure that the company is able tomanage and comply with the agreed terms and conditions includingdebt covenants.
  • Prepare debt amortizationschedules (including principal and interest paymentprofiles).
  • Track and ensure completeness withrespect to the movement of principal disbursements and repaymentsof debt.
  • Comply with the administrative anddocumentation requirements of debt and financingarrangements.
  • Support OpCos with arranging debtfinancing and provision of Group guarantees and collateral (asneeded) for competitive financingterms.
  • Compare the cost of borrowing with themarket average to identify cost optimization avenues and any debtrestructuring needed.
  • Coordinate with the riskmanagement function and understand companys overall risk
    strategy and appetite.
  • Discuss andagree the expectations of CFO Office with respect to hedging offinancial risks while developing hedgingstrategy.
  • Leverage best market practices andrenowned risk frameworks while developing the hedging strategy ofthe organization.
  • Coordinate with internal andexternal financial consultants managing the hedge fund to updatewith the latest market developments and hedgingstrategies.
  • Interact & coordinate withvarious internal departments including compliance financeoperations and trading desk (as needed) on effective management offinancial risks.
  • Monitor the financial modeland ensure that volatilities market prices forward curvescorrelations and other key valuation components are accuratelyposted in the financial model.
  • Use financialmodels to analyze the cost benefits analyses for each of theproposed financial hedgingtransactions.
  • Evaluate the existing and theproposed transactions of the company to identify and prioritizetransactions subject to higher financial risk.
    Developreports highlighting the financial outcomes against the hedgingstrategies for the senior management forevaluation.
  • Perform stress testing on variousportfolios in order to identify and mitigate unwantedexposure.
  • Coordinate with the asset owner toassess the insurance requirements raised in terms of cost andbenefits to the company.
  • Develop a list ofinsurance brokers by assessing the technical & commercialaspects and market feedback.
  • Preparecomparative statements of costs and benefits offered by eachinsurance brokers to find the most suitable brokers for thecompany.
  • Review the list of approved insurancebrokers periodically to ensure availability of
    updatedinformation for timely and effective decisionmaking.
  • Assess the terms and conditions of theinsurance contract to ensure its alignment with the proposedinsurance coverage.
  • Negotiate with theinsurance brokers and discuss and agree with the brokers economicalpremiums in line with the cost objectives of the company andOpCos.
  • Coordinate with the asset owner and filefor the insurance claim.
  • Resolve queries /disputes on the insurance claim.
  • Regularfollowups with the insurance broker on the claim status andpayments of
    insurance claims.
  • Performany other adhoc tasks required bymanagement.

Qualifications

  • BachelorsDegree in Business Administration Finance Accounting or any othersimilar field.
  • Above 12 years of experience inrelated field including 6 years in a leadershiprole.
  • Masters Degree in Business AdministrationFinance Accounting or any other similarfield.
  • CPA or other relevantcertifications.
