JobDescription:

-You will play a key role to follow procurementprocedures

- Maintainan updated list of current and incominginventory

-Responsible for approving purchases in align with themanagement

- Collectquotation(s) from existing /approved suppliers based on therequirements of goods and services from differentstakeholders

- Preparethe Purchase Order based on the approved Purchase Requisition andquotation and send the same to thesupplier

- Ensurethat the products and supplies are delivered to the stakeholderswith high quality and ontime

- Maintainan inventory control System for the goods purchases, stored anddelivered which are properly recorded and accounted forMonitoringdeliveries

- Ensuringcustomer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of alltransportation and goods Skills A clear, confident and concisecommunicatorWell-organised, goodnegotiator

Requirements

-Workexperience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similarrole

-Goodunderstanding of supply chainprocedures

-Hands-onexperience with purchasing software (e.g. JD oracle )Advancedknowledge of MSExcel

-Knowledgeof marketresearch.

QualificationsandExperience

1-3 yearsexperience in international sporting events specifically in VenueLogistics.

VenueLogistics experience, ideally at Asian Games, Commonwealth Games,FIFA FWC, European Games, Olympic Games, Pan Am Games, orsimilar.

Strong ITskills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook).

Fluency inEnglish required, Arabic and additional languages are an addedbenefit.

A teamplayer with a strong customer service focus, comfortable in bothupward / downward communication and a desire to go the extramile.

Ability topresent and clearly communicate to audiences in a multitude ofpublic / private settings, asrequired.

Proventrack record in managing complex projects, multi-tasking, andprioritisation of tasks anddeliverables.

Willing towork to complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining apositive attitude; exhibiting patience, persistence and experienceworking in a multi-cultural, multi-nationalenvironment.
