II. POSITION SUMMARY


The MyHR Specialist sits onthe MyHR Regional Team and reports to the MyHR Manager MEET. Theyserve as the Face of HR to the general population of employees andmanagers and therefore play a critical role in the development andevolution of the Air Products employee experience. This MyHR teamis responsible for ensuring that HR support and HR operations meetthe organizational objectives is rapidly responsive to employee andmanager needs and integrates with the other functions within the HRteam for consistency.


III NATURE ANDSCOPE


The MyHR Specialist will support employees and managers whileperforming duties in support of a variety of HR programs. Examplesinclude new employee orientation/onboarding offboarding programadministration (drug & alcohol vehicle allowanceunemployment) Workday administration and maintenance eMOC processfor HR policies and procedures compensation or benefits. The MyHRSpecialist/Power User will support employees and managers whileperforming duties in support of a variety of HR programs includingdata entry and maintenance in the HRIS system.


Individual will handleemployee and manager inquiries on policy/procedures/processes andresolves the inquiries swiftly and efficiently with the remainingexception cases escalated to HR process owners Communities ofExpertise and HR Partners.

This individual isexpected to be knowledgeable in HR Policies & Processes howHR operates how to expedite solutions and be a reliable source ofaccurate information to managers and employees. The positionrequires excellent communication and problemsolving skills highperformance and work ethic to drive to completion as well as theability to relate to people at all levels of the organization tounderstand and resolve issues. Power Users will handle employee andmanager inquiries related to employee master data in the HRISsystem provide guidance learning on the same while processingdaytoday transactions in the system


IV. DIMENSIONS:


This position will be basedat Air Products Middle East Dhahran. The MyHR Specialist positionis part of the MyHR Team that supports Middle East businessoperations which includes approximately 600 employees and in growthphase.

V. PRINCIPALACCOUNTABILITIES


This position is accountable for the followingend results:


Receive and respond to general HR questions and escalations fromemployee support group and concerns from managers andemployees:

  • Understand and explainHR policies/procedures/processes to provide accurate guidance toemployees and managers.


Develops core competency in HR tools andprograms (Workday LearnEx (APs learning portal) and systems insupport of specific HR programs etc.) to be able to supportemployees and managers in daytoday activities. Develop knowledge ina variety of HR programs to be able to support manager and employeeunderstanding and execution of lifecycle daytoday HR processes.Ensure consistency and application of best practices regionally inprogram administration. Develop and expedite recommendations toCoEs to improve and streamline HR processes based on employee andmanager experience. Be the Face of HR to bring the desired employeeexperience to life by partnering with HR Leaders CoEs and HRPartners on process execution. Provide proactive support toemployees for HR programs. Instill company philosophy culture andcore values. Create Onboarding Assets Request for KSA OAR and shareit with all concerned stakeholders. Manage processes in KSA Omanand UAE. Update the onboarding tracker in HR Onboarding CentralSite. Send a NE greeting email to new joiners for KSA. Share the NEpicture with admin for AP security badge. Add NE to the onboardingsessions for KSA Oman and UAE. Ensure the onboarding process isfollowed by presenters and new hires. Meet the NE at first day andintroduce the team. Initiate all employees change request Org unitHiring Manager Cost Center Salary Separation...etc. Pulling andcreating reports i.e. Ad hoc reports Create new Org units/DelimitOrg Units. Collect and Submit monthly HR Expense Input for all HRbenefits and cost related. Update the mobilization tracker reportin daily/weekly basis. Attend weakly meetings with recruiters andhiring manager to share and update the hiring plan for thecandidates who are under mobilization. Medical insurance activitiesIssue the employment contract for employees signature in Day 1 withchecking each employment contract before managementapproval.


V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ANDQUALIFICATIONS

  • Abachelors degree in human resources management MIS or a relatedfield
  • 35 years experience in HumanResources
  • Customer care experience in a HumanResources setting.
  • Outstanding organizationand analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability toact independently.
  • Ability to buildcollaborative relationships with employees at all levels of theorganization.
  • Strong proficiency withtechnology especially HR software applications such as WorkDay andMicrosoft Office Suite and related software.
  • HR certifications a plus
  • Occasionallocal/overnight travel may be required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy andability to relate to diverse personalities.
  • Leadership capabilities positive outlook supervisory experiencesets and maintains high standards works collaboratively withteams.
  • Presence ability to represent thecompany be a credible source of information and influenceunderstanding and positive outcomes.
  • Changemanagement demonstrated ability to lead and manage changeselfconfidence to present policy/procedure changes to the managerand employee population.
