The Project Director who is avisible and engaged leader shall ensure that the nominated projectoperates efficiently across DAR Al Riyadhs organization andinterfaces with internal and external Clients Consultants andContractors by acting as a technical advisor and liaison for DAR AlRiyadh. He will direct the project team based on company policiesgoals and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment andthat deadlines are met consistently. The PD also providesspecialist guidance direction and assistance to the Dar Al Riyadhproject portfolio in respect of resolution of complex projectissues and problems.

  • Supports DarAl Riyadhs strategic vision by creating and implementing the growthstrategy and business plan related to high value capital horizontalinfrastructure/vertical built environment projects.
  • Accountable for the financial performance of theinfrastructure portfolio of projects/client accounts.
  • Actively manages and regulates project financialperformance and takes corrective actions.
  • Optimizes resource for project delivery.
  • Resources bids to drive profitable as delivered marginwhen compared to as sold.
  • Minds and nurturesrelationships predominantly with existing client(s)
  • Manages and supervises project/client delivery team toensure the people deliver to their best ability. Appliesinnovation that impacts on clients and shares/implements with thelocal business.

  • Considers Dar Al Riyadh brand values when selectingcommunication methods.
  • Effectivelycommunicates with the client to ensure their needs are understood.
  • Ensures awareness of latest developments andthinking across Dar Al Riyadh.
  • Effectivelycommunicates across the business to join dots for our clients.
  • Conveys the brand in all externalcommunication.
  • Sets up and manages thecommunication channels within the team.
  • Develops clear communication plans in consultation withkey stakeholders and then implements them. Checks thatcommunication is working.
  • Communicatescomplex concepts clearly and simply.
  • Dealseffectively with the giving and receiving of constructive feedback.
  • Builds networks to exchange ideas and buildsupport.
  • Demonstrates empathy when workingwith others.
  • Identifies opportunities for ourclients by joining dots and thinking new considers crossdivisionaloptions.
  • Understands and contributes to theDar Al Riyadh Strategic plan.
  • Proactivelyseeks to contribute to Dar Al Riyadhs relationship with the client.
  • Builds positive longterm relationships withclients.
  • Ensures procedures are followed foreffective delivery and encourages excellence (Do right by clients).
  • Educates and adds value to the customer.
  • Adapts approach to address customer specificrequirements.
  • Proactively monitors clientfeedback and acts as necessary.
  • Recognized asembracing innovation and encouraging others to innovate.
  • Can think through the variables that affectthe business.
  • Understands the different partsof how the business fits together.
  • Candescribe who the companys competitors are and their new activities.
  • Recognizes the broader implications ofdecisions on the business and its customers. Identifiescommercial opportunity and risk.

Essential Requirements:

  • Approve the setup of the project.
  • Plan and control work chair and minute meetings andmanage the flow of information on a daytoday basis.
  • Comply with the contractual obligations to the Client.
  • Review and approve the Project Plan.
  • Provide services and products to the requiredquality safety environmental and sustainability standards.
  • Provide services and products within riskprofile acceptable to DAR Al Riyadh.
  • Maintaingood Client relations by interfacing with the Client at a positionmore senior than that of the Clients nominated projectrepresentative.
  • Resolve Client and projectissues and handling all liability issues.
  • Review the project against DAR Al Riyadh processes andClient requirements.
  • Ensure remarks/commentsfor the Project Report have been resolved.
  • Determine Project Approach and oversee the methodologyincluding:
    • Project Organization
    • Stakeholders
    • Roles andResponsibilities
