Our Client is currentlyseeking a highly skilled HVAC Ducting Supervisor to oversee theinstallation maintenance and repair of HVAC ducting systems withinour shipbuilding organization. The candidate will be responsiblefor ensuring that all HVAC ducting activities meet stringentindustry standards and regulatoryrequirements.

Responsibilities

• Directand supervise the installation maintenance and repair of HVACducting systems onboard vessels ensuring compliance with projectspecifications safety regulations and qualitystandards.
• Act as a mentor to trainees in theHVAC ducting department providing guidance support and technicalexpertise to facilitate their growth and development. Documenttrainee progress and provide feedback to aid in their professionaladvancement.
• Utilize your certification as anassessor or readiness to obtain one to assess and certify HVACducting systems and personnel as per organizational and regulatoryrequirements.
• Leverage your experience workingat prominent shipbuilding organizations to introduce and implementbest practices in HVAC ducting operations. Share knowledge andinsights to enhance efficiency quality andsafety.
• Ensure that all HVAC ducting activitiesadhere to top classification society standards and requirementssuch as IACS ABS BV DNV LR RINA etc. Maintain accuratedocumentation to demonstratecompliance.
• Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams including engineering procurement quality assurance andproject management to ensure seamless coordination and execution ofHVAC ducting activities.
• Effectively manageresources including manpower materials and equipment to optimizeHVAC ducting processes and meet projectdeadlines.
• Champion a culture of safety byimplementing and enforcing safety protocols and risk mitigationmeasures across HVAC ducting operations. Conduct regular safetyaudits andinspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred withadditional certifications or training in HVAC ducting systems beingadvantageous.
• Proficient English communicationskills with a minimum IELTS band score of 7 or equivalent essentialfor mentoring trainees and documenting theirprogress.
• Documented history of being acertified assessor or eligibility to become one demonstrating theability to assess and certify HVAC ducting systems andpersonnel.
• Proven track record of working atprominent shipbuilding organizations with significant experience inHVAC ducting operations. Bring along best practices and behaviorsto enhance operations.
• Demonstrated experienceworking on projects adhering to top classification societystandards/requirements such as IACS ABS BV DNV LR RINAetc.
