My client is looking for an ElectricalEngineer for their Exton, PA facility. The Electrical Engineer willbe responsible for the conceptual and detailed design ofhigh-voltage capacitive discharge assemblies, associated drivers,and testequipment.

Responsibilities:

Develops pulsed power assemblies that meetcustomer design specifications as well as generate designs forinternal needs;

Works closely with Quality,Manufacturing, and Program Management to develop, manufacture, andsustain, designing products with an emphasis not only onperformance but also on manufacturability andtestability;

Originates and refines existingdesigns including detailed design, tolerance studies, and selectionof electronic components while taking thermal management intoaccount;

Prepares engineering specs, partslists, time estimates, and test and fabrication schedules;

Writes engineering reports and assists in thepreparation of technical proposals;

Participates in and conducts specification reviews, design reviews,pre-production builds, debug, and product testing at internal,government and/or customer labs;

Plans anddetermines test procedures;

Conducts laboratoryor field test experiments and investigations, as well as correlatesand interprets observations and results;

Willbe responsible for technical support of some mature productscurrently in production;

Will be required tointerface with customers as a technical expert for one or moreproductlines.

Requirements:

BSDegree in electrical engineering or similar discipline is required;

5 years of design/development experience orother equivalent training in designing circuits with electroniccomponents preferred;

Two years of analogexperience desired;

Familiarity withhigh-voltage (>40kV), high-voltage transformers andcapacitor discharge applications desired;

Knowledge of electronic design software is required (Altiumpreferred);

Must be proficient in MS Office;

Ingenuity and attention to detail skills areessential;
