Responsibilities:

  • Providea coordinating role in the development of a three-year CorporateStrategy and Roadmap for the key programmatic areas including themonitoring and execution of the implementationplan
  • Support Directors withresearch, problem-solving, and the accurate and timely reporting ofthe Nigeria Financial Inclusion Program activities according toapplicable timeframes andformats
  • Manage program reportingprocess(es) including collation of various project status updatesfrom project staff and technical assistance partners, and theprovision of overall program statusreporting
  • Act as an integral memberof the team responsible for the centralized process forcoordination of resources, planning, communication, documentation,travel, and logistics, and maintain a calendar of deadlines anddeliverables for Nigerias financial inclusion program
  • Support external stakeholdermanagement activities, the cadence of engagements, workshops, andmeetings, and delivery of individualprojects
  • Execute set priorities,effect change, manage expectations through influence and inpartnership with Directors, suggesting tactics and strategies toaddress any challenges, issues, andopportunities
  • Develop projectmanagement tools and trackers as needed to ensure a systematic andclear overview of project activities, budget, and results frameworkis available to ensure effective projectmanagement.
  • Provide support toreview and manage the execution of all contracts, memoranda ofunderstanding, and agreements for the Nigeria financial inclusionprogram
  • Identify and monitor allcontractual obligations of all parties/stakeholders of the Nigeriafinancial inclusion program
  • Documentation of technicalassistance requirements, review and analysis of Requests forInformation (RFIs), and Request for Proposals (RFPs) on theprogram
  • Monitor and process approvedrelevant program expenses andinvoices
  • Ensure financial inclusionprogram staff and technical assistance partners adhere to RPApolicies and procedures
  • Work withDirectors to manage relationships with key stakeholders includingrelevant Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), technicalassistance partners, consultants, external partners, and theprogram funder(s)
  • Manage operationalresponsibilities, including processing payment requests andcreating consultant/vendor agreements for financial inclusionProjects (that may not have employees orstaff)
  • Participate and capturemeeting minutes with the various financial inclusion projectsinvolving technical assistance partners, consultants, and projectpartners and update the CRM with the required information forknowledgemanagement.




Requirements


  • Minimumacademic qualification of B.A./B.Sc. Degree or equivalent workexperience required;
  • A Mastersdegree is preferred;
  • 3 - 5 years ofrelated experience in the non-profit sector and/ or consultingdisciplines
  • Familiarity anddemonstrated interest in financial inclusion concepts andtheories
  • Knowledge or experienceworking with Nigerian Federal Government offices and the digitalfinancial services landscape in Nigeria
  • Proven ability to multi-task andbalance the workload and deadlines for multipleprojects
  • Strong organizational andproject management skills and a demonstrated attention todetail
  • Clear and promptcommunication skills, both oral andwritten
  • Experience supportingnon-profit operations
  • Familiaritywith non-profit budgets and income statements is preferred but notrequired
  • Familiarity with fiscalsponsorship and knowledge of a foreign language (French, Spanish,etc.) and other languages (Hausa, Yoruba, etc.) is preferred butnot required
  • Computer proficiency,particularly working knowledge of Office Suite; familiarity withNetSuite/CRM (Helpful)
  • Must bewilling to travel for client work asneeded.
