Your Job

ThePackage Engineer will be responsible for theengineering activities of combustion systems projects. You willcoordinate the engineering to the Working in a multidisciplinaryteam you will coordinate the engineering activities between theprocess engineer mechanical engineers E&I engineersstructural engineers and designers. You will also be responsiblefor the specification technical evaluations of the boughtoutpackages and components part of the system. You will ensure theequipment meets the contract and customer requirement for qualityand on time delivery.

What You WillDo

  • Lead the technical aspects of theProject review the contract document and scope of work forengineering deliverables and coordinate the various disciplines forthe timely submission of all Engineering Deliverables includingdocuments drawings datasheets etc in compliance with the contractproject requirements.
  • Preparation of thedesign inputs and review and/or approval of mechanical engineeringdeliverables P&IDs General Arrangement drawings etc.
  • Preparation of mechanical engineeringdocumentation and Material Requisitions for bought out packages andequipment.
  • Vendors technical evaluations andsubsequent review and approval of vendors deliverables.
  • Ensure the equipment delivered meets thecontract codes and standards and Project specifications and GoodEngineering practices.
  • Resolve or manage theresolution the technical issues with the parties involves in theproject (Client Procurement QC KES Workshops Suppliers)
  • Handle customer comments and technicalclarifications and interface with the client for technical issuesuntil resolution.
  • Responsible for EngineeringKPIs for the project in charge: Quality Ontime delivery Consistencyof design and Engineering outputs
  • Manage theEngineering budgets for hours for the detailed engineeringhighlight any anticipated variations.
  • Participate in KOM Progress meetingsHAZOP/HAZID studies (As needed).
  • Work inaccordance with the company procedures andstandards

Who You Are(BasicQualifications)
  • Strongadherence for safety and demonstrated safe work habits.
  • Fluent in English language and strong reportwriting skills.
  • Experience as a Packageengineer for complex Mechanical systems or packages including SkidsValves Piping Equipment and Rotating equipment like Pumps blowersetc
  • Experience in the oil & gas and/orChemicals/Petrochemicals industry in engineering of systems orpackage units
  • Technical proficiency tounderstand process engineering ability to read mechanical andelectrical engineering drawings process flow diagrams andP&ID.
  • Experience in preparation /review of engineering datasheets of Mechanical components equipments for procurement / approval to client.
  • Demonstratable track record of delivering ontime within budget with quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal andwritten.
  • Well organized and able to workindependently.

What WillPut You Ahead
  • Mechanicalengineering background with experience in packages with pipingequipment and rotary equipment packages
  • Basicunderstanding of structural and pipework design and fabrication.
  • Basic understanding of electrical andinstrumentation.
  • Previous project experiencewith Combustion systems (Burners Boilers Flares Thermal oxidizers)
