Aero Concession Manager

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the development and management of the Aeronautical concession portfolio including FBO, Fuel Farm, Ground Handling, Cargo Handling, Catering and MRO operations or any other activity by third party service provider that is under the Aero revenue portfolio.
Responsible to develop and implement successful commercial initiatives which contribute to a concession program that shows solid revenue growth and exceeds targets annually.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Strategy implementation:
Implementation of strategy for ground handling, cargo handling and fuel provision at airport(s) managed by DACO. Continuous review of aeronautical facilities strategy to ensure unique and world class airport services experience.
- Aero concession revenue:
Development and expansion of aeronautical revenues associated with using the airport(s).
- Account management:
Establishing and maintaining solid and successful relationship with airport service providers.
- Stakeholder management:
Maintain communication with GACA, MATARAT and other KSA airports to comply with regulations, guidelines, and National Strategy.
- General aviation:
Facilitate establishing the new FBO service provider. Monitor and support FBO services aiming to maximize revenue.
- Maintenance base:
Facilitate establishing the new MRO operator. Monitor and support MRO services aiming to maximize revenue.
- Quality control:
Ensure implementation of required service standards and monitoring of standards by agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Annual budgeting:
Participate in annual budgeting exercise.
- Market intelligence:
Attend relevant job-related industry events, workshops and conferences.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (financial, marketing or business-related field preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in airport operations, ground handling or in ground operations of airlines with a proven track record.
- Experience in contract management.
