Job Purpose:

The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the overall management, planning, and coordination of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes networks, server systems, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and related hardware and software. The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the IT infrastructure while staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure.

- Oversee the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software components of the IT infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain network and infrastructure documentation, including network diagrams, hardware and software inventories, and system configurations.

- Ensure that proper security measures are in place to protect the organization's IT infrastructure against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.

- Monitor and analyze system performance and implement performance tuning and capacity planning strategies.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability between different systems and technologies.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the IT infrastructure.

- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and driving continuous improvement.

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the IT infrastructure.

- Lead and mentor a team of IT infrastructure professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on networks, servers, storage, and virtualization.

- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.

- Experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise-grade server and storage systems, such as Dell PowerEdge, HP ProLiant, EMC, or NetApp.

- Proficiency in virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.

- Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security controls and measures.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Professional certifications, such as CCNA, MCSE, or VCP, are highly desired.
