About the job:

Join us as an Electrical Design Engineer as part of our Oil & Gas division, and work on some of our largest, high-profile projects and niche innovations. You'll play a role in a team that has installed over 1,000 Oil & Gas projects around the world and is the go-to for difficult challenges in engineering, operations, life extension, and decommissioning, with activities across the globe. you'll keep yourself challenged alongside some of the top minds in the industry.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and reviews Electrical engineering Deliverables such as Design basis, design drawings, Datasheets, Calculations and material and equipment specifications.
  • Prepare specifications and Materials requisition for purchase of electrical materials and equipment.
  • Resolves specialty related electrical engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
  • Analyzing problems, organizing investigations and determining specific design criteria.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software such as ETAP to perform engineering tasks.
  • Conduct field investigations and prepares reports for finding or issues.

Your Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

Qualification/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience

  • Good Customer / Client Service Orientation
  • 3D Modelling Skills (preferable)
  • Smart Plant Electrical Skills (preferable)

  • Full fluency in English is required.

Core Competencies:

  • Must be able to self-lead and communicate effectively to all levels of project team, including management and client.
  • Effective communication skills to ensure scheduling and reporting requirements associated with systems completion are clearly understood and adhered to by project team.
