Dredge Superintendent

The Dredge Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of dredging operations, ensuring the project is executed efficiently and safely.

• Manage and lead the dredging team, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations
• Oversee the planning and execution of dredging operations, including resource allocation and scheduling
• Coordinate with on-site management, project engineers, and subcontractors
• Monitor and control the progress of the dredging operations to meet project goals and timelines
• Ensure maintenance and repair of dredging equipment
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in dredging operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of dredging techniques, equipment, and regulations
• Experience working on offshore projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in project management software
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
