The VP of HR will be responsible for managing the HR department by developing and implementing HR Roadmap and deriving a performance-based culture in the organization. Moreover, the VP HR will be responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, Rewards and benefits, training and development, performance monitoringResponsibilities
  • Strategic HR Development: You will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive HR team and strategy that is closely aligned with our business strategy and working with different cultures. You will identify key HR initiatives and priorities that support our long-term mission and goals.
  • Executive Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to define our organization's long-term mission and goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning HR strategies with these objectives to drive overall success.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Your role includes providing valuable expertise on HR practices, safety protocols, and compensation issues. This expertise will be essential in guiding decision-making and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Senior Management Engagement: Engaging senior management to support and actively participate in the implementation of HR initiatives will be a vital aspect of your role. You'll work collaboratively to ensure that HR programs are effectively integrated into our company culture.
  • Total Rewards: You will be responsible for administering employee health insurance, retirement, and benefit programs, ensuring that our employees receive competitive and comprehensive packages.
  • Process Standardization: Overseeing the HR Department and implementing standardized processes will be key to improving efficiency and consistency in HR operations across the organization.
  • Talent Management: Managing the recruitment team to attract and retain top talent in our industry.
  • Compensation Oversight: You will direct staff wage and salary programs, ensuring that they comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Embracing our many cultures. Ensuring compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, and diversity goals is a critical aspect of your role, contributing to an inclusive and equitable workplace.
  • Legal and Best Practices: Staying updated on employment laws, regulations, and best practices is crucial to ensure that our HR policies and procedures remain current and compliant.
  • Financial Oversight: Managing the HR budget, assessing performance metrics, and implementing software systems to enhance HR operations will be part of your financial responsibilities.
  • Adaptability: Finally, your role may encompass other duties as assigned, reflecting your flexibility and readiness to address evolving organizational needs.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • MBA or MA/MS in Human Resources or related field.
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification
  • 15 - 20 years of experience with at least five years of executive HR experience
  • Native Arabic speaker
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience building culture in hyper-growth startups
