Eram Talent is looking to hire a Downstream Facilities Planning Specialist to join their team. As a division of ERAM Group, E-Talent is an independent talent acquisition consultancy with a global reach. They specialize in providing sophisticated skills to various industries including Oil & Gas, Petroleum, Infrastructure, Energy, Water, Transportation, Science & Technology and Health Care. The Downstream Facilities Planning Specialist will be responsible for providing expert advice on designs and plans related to downstream facilities, such as refineries and distribution centres. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to develop and implement plans that meet their specific needs, as well as continually monitor and improve on these plans.


Responsibilities
  • Identify and propose value-driven opportunities on asset-level and regional basis to enhance overall profitability in alignment with the company’s strategy and long-term goals.
  • Evaluate the impact of market changes on the economics and competitiveness of capital program projects.
  • Review and comment on inclusion of new projects in investment plans, and refresh plans accordingly.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on refineries and petrochemical facilities, with an emphasis on technical and economic justifications and developing long-term business strategies.•
  • Evaluate growth project proposals and JV offtake arrangements.•
  • Assist in the technical development and economic justification of capital programs.
  • Perform process, system and economic evaluations of existing and potential refining and petrochemical facilities.
  • Direct evaluations of major refining and petrochemical facilities as performed by others.
  • Prepare and make presentations to Corporate management on refining and petrochemical investment opportunities.
  • Mentor less experienced facilities planning professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in downstream facilities planning, ideally within the Oil & Energy industry.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to downstream facilities planning.
  • Ability to use relevant software and tools to produce and understand engineering designs and plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and team members alike.
