Project: This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre experienced people.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and monitoring the subcontractor and supply agreement process. 

Evaluating business improvement opportunities and making recommendations to reduce costs, increase productivity, improve economic value added and increase earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization. 

Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in relation to legal, financial, and administration matters - the standard of internal control and policies. 

Setting direction and providing clear and timely feedback to direct reports on their performance. 

Assisting client in preparation of contractual terms and conditions. 

Tracking implementation of contractual terms signed up with various vendors and suppliers such as insurances, bank guarantees and other technical provisions of the contract.

Supporting QS and cost consultant in the final closeout stage in contract closure. 

Preparing and finalizing a contract procurement schedule and prequalification criteria for the client’s approval. 

Assisting clients in contractor shortlisting, prequalification, and on-boarding of contractors. 

Reviewing BOQ and certifying change orders after reviewing other contractor's scope of work and getting the client’s approval.

Directing the commercial and resource management. 

Guiding the commercial and financial management functions. 

Managing the performance of all operations from a commercial and finance perspective. 

Monitoring financial performance, financial analysis (including trend analysis), and preparing project performance reports and recommendations for the executive team. 

Developing and supervising the implementation of and adherence to the commercial management plan, subcontract management plant, and project risk management plan. 

Monitoring, reviewing, and keeping relevant parties informed on the timeliness, cost, revenue, risk, progress, and performance of the project. 

Liaising with the construction team to ensure commercial processes and operations are as effective, efficient, and transparent as possible. 

Must be able to demonstrate notable experience on similar large projects with regard to the tendering of Consultancy Services and Construction Works (preparation of Tender Documents, managing the Tender process (preparation of Tender Addendum), Tender Evaluation and negotiation, preparation of Post Tender Clarifications and preparation of Contract Documents and Contract Management (including managing Consultant and Contractor payment applications and Final Accounts, administering Change management systems, responding to Claims and providing contractual advice throughout Projects).

About you

You have a degree qualified in Quantity Surveying is preferred however candidates with extensive experience in the field will be highly considered.

You are a RICS probationer/APC candidate ideal however experience in the procurement field in respect to Contract Engrossment is a prerequisite as well as a fair understanding of FIDIC Suite Contract.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
