Position Overview:

The SAP Ariba Consultant is a vital part of both procurement and IT teams, focusing on implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Ariba's Strategic Sourcing modules. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, procurement specialists, and project teams to deliver comprehensive sourcing solutions that enhance procurement efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic sourcing initiatives. The consultant must possess in-depth knowledge of procurement processes, strategic sourcing methods, and the technical aspects of SAP Ariba to drive successful implementations and continuous improvements.'

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design and Configuration: Understand business and sourcing requirements to develop solutions using SAP Ariba's Strategic Sourcing Suite. Configure the system to support organizational sourcing strategies and procurement best practices.
• Project Management: Lead SAP Ariba module implementations, managing project stages from planning and requirements gathering to testing, training, and post-go-live support.
• Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Optimization: Streamline strategic sourcing and procurement processes utilizing SAP Ariba to improve efficiencies, achieve cost savings, and enhance supplier relationships.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with procurement teams, category managers, and users, ensuring their requirements are met and fostering the adoption of the SAP Ariba solution.
• Supplier Enablement and Management: Facilitate supplier onboarding to the Ariba Network, promoting effective collaboration and performance management.
• Data Management and Analytics: Maintain data integrity within SAP Ariba, analyze procurement data, and translate findings into strategic insights for decision-making.
• Integration and Enhancements: Work with IT to integrate SAP Ariba with other enterprise systems, continuously identifying and implementing system enhancements.
• User Training and Support: Deliver training on SAP Ariba functionalities and provide ongoing user support, ensuring high proficiency and resolution of operational issues.
• Compliance and Security: Manage SAP Ariba in compliance with regulatory requirements, overseeing user access and data security measures.
• Industry and SAP Expertise: Keep abreast of procurement technology trends, SAP updates, and best practices in strategic sourcing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite implementation.
• Deep understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement processes within SAP environments.
• Proven project management skills, with a track record of leading complex implementation projects.
• Strong analytical skills, focusing on data-driven decision-making within procurement.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
• SAP Ariba certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Ariba Sourcing) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of procurement operations, contract management, and spend analysis.
• Ability to navigate high-pressure environments independently and collaboratively.
