Vibration Technician

The Vibration Technician will join a reputable Oil & Energy industry client and will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing machinery for effective operations. Technically solid in pumps and compressors vibration analysis and machine diagnosis skills. Has experience with ADRE and System 1

• Perform vibration analysis on various types of equipment and provide comprehensive feedback on vibration trends and condition monitoring.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnoses on complex mechanical systems and determine maintenance requirements.
• Determine the relevant tools and spares needed to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Carry out corrective actions and recommend maintenance activities to prevent machinery breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Create and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities for timely decision-making and future reference.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and management to ensure complete understanding of equipment maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• B.S in Mechanical Engineering
• CAT II or CAT III certification Preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in vibration analysis and maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of maintenance management software.
• In-depth knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance techniques.
• Hands-on experience with alignment and balancing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
