Our client is looking for an experienced CFO with proven background in retail grocery. 

Responsibilities

Creating and putting into action financial plans that help the company reach its overall goals. This includes making plans and budgets, as well as finding ways to save money and make more money.

Taking care of the company's finances by doing things like budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The CFO will also be in charge of making and keeping track of financial metrics that can be used to measure performance.

Overseeing the company's financial operations, such as accounting, taxes, and treasury. This includes making sure that all financial laws and rules are followed and also managing relationships with banks and other financial partners.

Giving the CEO and other members of the top management team financial advice to support for their daily decisions. The CFO will work closely with other departments to make sure that the financial goals of the company are in line with the company's overall business goals.

Figuring out and taking care of the company's financial risks. This includes looking for possible financial risks and putting plans in place to reduce those risks.

Making sure that financial rules and laws are followed. The CFO will also be in charge of making sure that the company's financial reports are correct and sent out on time.

Making and delivering financial reports and giving clear, concise information about finances.

Creating and putting in place financial systems and controls to make sure that financial information is correct and reliable. This includes making and using internal controls to keep fraud and mistakes from happening.

Able to negotiate with banks, suppliers and any partners. 

Requirements 

Bachelor's degree in finance, CA, CPA

At least 15 years of experience in Financial Management, with 5 years in Retail groceries. 

A professional certification in accounting or finance, like a CPA, CMA, or CFA, is a plus.

Strong skills in analyzing and solving problems.

Strong ability to lead and talk to people.
