Offshore Pipelines Draftsman

Eram Talent, a global Talent Acquisition Consultancy, is currently seeking a skilled Offshore Pipelines Draftsman to join our client's team in the UAE. Our client operates in the Oil and Energy industry and specializes in offshore projects. As an Offshore Pipelines Draftsman, you will play a vital role in the design and development of offshore pipeline systems, creating detailed technical drawings and documentation for various pipeline projects.

• Create detailed technical drawings and documentation for offshore pipeline systems
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop pipeline plans, layouts, and specifications
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulations
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings
• Conduct quality checks on drawings and review for errors or inconsistencies
• Maintain and update drawing files and documentation for future reference
• Communicate with internal team members and external stakeholders to clarify design requirements
• Assist in preparing material take-offs and cost estimates for pipeline projects

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Drafting or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a draftsman in the offshore pipelines industry
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or similar tools
• Strong understanding of offshore pipeline systems and industry standards
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software
• Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus
