Technical Material Submittals review and approval for conformity with CEMP/LEED and project’s related contract specs. Review the Environmental, Sustainability and LEED Construction Plans prepared by the Contractor, and monitor their site implementation and required monthly reports: Erosion & Sedimentation Control Plan Construction Waste Management Plan Construction Material Procurement Strategy and LEED implementation plan Construction Indoor Air Quality Plan Review LEED relevant construction works method statements and shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications under LEED and environmental best practice.Review following updated LEED calculations: Interior and Exterior Light Power Densities [LPD] calculations. Regional Materials procurement costs Recycled Content Materials procurement costs Updated Thermal Calculations for the curtain walls and buildings envelop Solar Reflectance Materials [SRI] and Light Reflectance Value [LRV] for the envelop Waste monthly accumulative calculations Review the energy related systems and commissioning performance reports provided by the commissioning engineer Update the Project’s Energy Model as per final equipment and material approved selections Report of any non-compliance with LEED of a serious nature, to the Client and issue required Observation letters and NCRs. Attend progress meetings and perform site walk around audits. Administer the project’s environmental and sustainability record keeping, including, but not limited to, audits and inspection schedule, collate and document construction compliance with the LEED, reporting progress of works, and noting any deviations by the Contractor from the agreed strategy. Review of all Operation and Maintenance Manuals, sustainability communication and operational staff training requirements to ensure they are appropriate for the project and adequate to meet the targeted LEED compliance. Follow up with the appointed Contractor, LEED Consultant and USGBC until the LEED Certificate is issued and the Contractor is entitled for the TOC.
