INNOVEST is seeking a motivated and skilled Planning Engineer to join our team. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating various aspects of the planning process for our projects. Your attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will be crucial for ensuring the successful execution of our plans.

In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive project plans, create detailed schedules, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to timelines and milestones. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving potential scheduling conflicts, as well as recommending and implementing changes to optimize project efficiency.

The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background in planning and scheduling, with a solid understanding of project management principles. You should be adept at using project management software and other tools to facilitate the planning process. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements, provide updates, and address any scheduling concerns.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project plans and schedules, considering resource allocation, scope, and budget constraints
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to identify and define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables
  • Monitor and track project progress against established schedules, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Conduct periodic project status meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize disruptions and optimize resource allocation
  • Recommend and implement changes to project plans and schedules based on evolving requirements and constraints
  • Generate regular reports and metrics to effectively communicate project status and key performance indicators to management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential delays and conflicts
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to work, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely manner
