My client, a public sector organization is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Economist to join their team.

Job Description
• Lead the development and evaluation of economic policies to support the public sector's objectives.
• Conduct thorough economic impact assessments to inform decision-making processes.
• Drive the formulation and execution of long-term economic strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Provide foresight on potential economic challenges and opportunities, offering proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with finance departments to provide economic insights for budget development.
• Assess the financial impact of proposed policies and initiatives on public resources.
The Successful Applicant
• +10 Years of experience required
• Advanced degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related field. PhD preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within economic analysis, preferably in the public sector.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in economic modeling and statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex economic concepts to diverse audiences.
