The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing theoretical and practical instruction to trainees in various aspects of drilling operations, such as well control, crew resource management, safety, and maintenance.
• Designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training material and resources on IADC, DIT and WELLSHARP topics according to the approved curriculum and learning objectives
• Creating learning experiences that engage learners to achieve and demonstrate learning outcomes
• Implementing technology-enabled innovations to support blended and digital learning
• Assess trainees’ knowledge and skills using standardized tests and practical exercises
• Provide feedback and guidance to trainees on their performance and areas for improvement
• Collating feedback on completed training to evaluate and measure results and make improvements where required
• Maintaining a database of all training materials
• Delivering IADC-approved WELLSHARP training programs to our clients
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, test results, and completion certificates
• Ensure compliance with IADC quality assurance and audit requirements
• Keep abreast of the latest developments and best practices in the drilling industry

Ideal Profile

Qualifications (Essential requirements for the role):

• Master’s degree or higher in petroleum engineering
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in the drilling industry
• Valid IADC WELLSHARP instructor certification for: Drilling Operations (Driller and Supervisor level) for surface, subsea, and workover supplement tracks.
•  Well Servicing for Introductory, Workover, Coiled Tubing, Oil & Gas Operator Representative, Snubbing, Subsea Supplement, and Wireline tracks
• Valid IADC DIT instructor accreditation for Drilling Operations and Well Servicing
• Knowledge of IADC standards, policies, and procedures for well control and drilling industry training
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Ability to use online testing system, simulation software, and other training tools
• Fluent in English and Arabic languages to be able to liaise effectively to different stakeholders across the region.
