As a Mechanical Fitter at Eram Talent, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our clients' projects, and ultimately, the growth and reputation of Eram Talent.


Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the assembly and installation requirements of mechanical equipment.
  • Assemble and install mechanical components and systems, such as pumps, motors, valves, and piping systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical fitting tasks.
  • Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and adjustment of mechanical components.
  • Inspect and test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as engineers and technicians, to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter in the Oil & Energy industry or related field.
  • Preferably with refinery shutdown experience.
  • Proven experience in assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure proper alignment, fitting, and adjustment of mechanical components.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and practices.
