Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Audiology Specialist to join our healthcare team. The Audiology Specialist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audiological assessments, diagnosing hearing disorders, and providing personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages. Responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough audiometric evaluations to assess hearing ability and diagnose auditory disorders.
2. Perform advanced diagnostic procedures such as otoacoustic emissions (OAE), auditory brainstem response (ABR), and tympanometry.
3. Interpret test results and collaborate with medical professionals to determine appropriate treatment plans.
4. Recommend and fit hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and other hearing enhancement technologies.
5. Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing health and communication strategies.
6. Collaborate with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
7. Stay informed about advancements in audiology research, technology, and treatment modalities.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• A degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
• Valid SCFHS certificate
• Proven experience in conducting audiological assessments and providing rehabilitation services.
• Strong knowledge of hearing aid technology, fitting, and programming.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
