Project (Package) Manager - Soil Remediation Scope

You can make your mark as package manager soil remediation by being responsible for the supervision and control of the soil remediation scope of our project in Saudi.

The package manager soil remediation acts as principles point of knowledge related to soil remediation and will sufficiently safeguard the safety on site (of personnel and surroundings) and the quality of processing of the soil.

To this regards the package manager soil remediation liaises with other (dredging & dry earth moving) package managers to ensure the remediation is executed safely and in compliance with applicable laws and regulation, while taking the overall progress of the project into account.


Your responsibilities as a package manager soil remediation

  • Overall responsible for preparations, startup, execution and finalization of the soil remediation scope, within budget, quality and time.
  • Implementing and safeguarding of required safety and quality standards and protocols.
  • Progress reporting and end reporting.
  • Contract management and supervision of (sub)contractors and suppliers, in relation to the remediation scope.
  • Contract management and reporting related to Consortium and Employer, in relation to the remediation scope.
  • Liaison towards external consultants, authorities and/or client representatives, in relation to the remediation scope.
  • Planning of personnel and equipment.

Your qualities and experience

  • Minimum Higher Professional Education level in a relevant discipline (e.g. civil engineering, engineering, geology, etc.).
  • Relevant certification in the area of soil remediation.
  • 510 year experience as Project Manager or Senior Superintendent on soil remediation and/or dry earth moving projects.
  • Experience with soil remediation projects for contaminated soil and groundwater, both in preparations as well as in execution.
  • International experience is a significant preference.
  • Proficient English (verbal and writing).
  • Willingness to travel abroad on applicable leave/rotation schedule.
  • Flexibility related to unexpected and/or changing circumstances.
