The Army Aviation AH-64 D/E (15R-30) Technical Inspector (AH-64 D/E QC TI) will provide the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) with fully qualified AH-64D/E Technical Inspector(s) (15R) IAW Directed Manning Baseline to assist in the aviation maintenance mission of the RSLFAC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

A Valid
US Passport is Required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a
US Govt Secret Security Clearance is Required.
US Citizenship is Required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

The
AH-64 D/E TI (15R) will support the maintenance mission in the following areas:

Responsible for quality control technical inspection of airframe structures, aircraft components, parts, and systems, including avionics, electrical, instrument, armament, and environmental control units of the AH-64D/E helicopter at both the AVUM and AVIM levels.

Perform quality and safety inspections of on-site equipment and tools used in aircraft maintenance.


Responsible for in-progress and final quality control technical inspections during maintenance, repair, modification, rework and overhaul of AH-64D/E aircraft, its components, and component parts.


Provide back-up quality control inspection of the AH-64 D/E helicopter at the AVUM and AVIM levels if qualified and required.

Perform special aircraft and component technical inspections and non
- destructive testing as required.

Provide technical guidance, instruction, and interpretation of written instructions and procedures to aircraft technicians to ensure high quality work.


Provide On-the-Job-Training (OJT) for Saudi technicians and/or other personnel to include maintaining appropriate records on personnel such as Job Performance Guides (JPGs).

Inspect and correct maintenance forms and records used in the


performance of maintenance work to verify compliance with US Army reference and other publications of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).

Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of the associated work area. Perform cleaning, preservation, and operational maintenance work on assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Operate motor vehicles, machines, and other mechanical equipment in the performance of assigned duties.

Perform other duties as requested and directed by contract.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent is Required.
  • A Valid
    (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant
    (A&P) certificate is desired.
A Valid
(FAA) IA Inspection Authorization is preferred.

  • Must be a graduate of the
    US Army Technical Inspector 15R30 or equivalent AH64 training course; AND must have a minimum of Four (4) years of current Army aviation AH64 D/E maintenance experience, with Two (2) of the (4) years serving as an
    AH64 D/E Technical inspector. All experience must be current within the past four years.
  • Must possess extensive knowledge of the
    AH64 D/E systems, with proven ability to perform AVUM and AVIM technical inspection functions as described.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to use all measuring, test and diagnostic equipment for theAH64 D/E, as well as be certified to perform non
- destructive inspections.

  • Knowledge of the
    AH64 D/E systems, to serve as a backup to perform AVUM and AVIM technical inspections of those systems is preferred.
  • Must be capable of obtaining a valid light equipment operator's license.

Saudi Specific Requirements:

Must be able to present credentials and training certificates for the Saudi Visa authentication process.

A
Valid US Passport is Required for Deployment to Saudi, Arabia.

Must be able to meet the Requirements to obtain a Saudi (Igama) Visa and pass the Saudi Visa Medical. (Ask Recruiter for details).

US Govt Security Clearance Requirements:

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a
US Govt Secret Security Clearance is required.
US Citizenship is Required to obtain a Secret Clearance, and for facility access.

Preferred and Additional Qualifications:

  • Must have demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must be fluent in the English language.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Arabic is desirable.
