The department:

Operations in Saudi have been always a regional success with a high
- profile and complex services during the past several years, and we expect an even stronger performance moving forward after awarding multiple direct contracts with different operator companies. Hence, we are looking for Field engineers to support and be part of this expansion. You will join a small and nimble team based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

The position:


To further strengthen and support our operations in Saudi Arabia (and other Middle East countries), we are looking for a highly motivated Field Engineer.


You will undergo training at the headquarter in Denmark in the first year of employment to gain knowledge of our specialized equipment and technology with a view to assisting in offshore operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute complex onshore and offshore operations across Saudi Arabia.
  • Perform job loadout and rig up/down at well site, both land and offshore environments.
  • Follow detailed processes and procedures to maintain an industryleading level of service quality.
  • Uphold a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Undertake technical, safety, and shop/office responsibilities as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in an orderly and workable condition.
  • Has an Engineering degree or equivalent experience as a field engineer or similar job. Minimum 6+ years of experience in downhole interventions and electric line is preferable but training will be given.
  • Take responsibility as lead engineer on assigned operations, be forwardlearning and HSEminded.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork associated with a job, including but not limited to the job report and field ticket, in a neat and timely manner.
  • Be an ambassador for Welltec and Welltec technology when performing a job onsite. This includes building good relationships and promoting Welltec services.
  • Be a highly motivated individual who approaches challenges with a positive attitude and is willing to work under pressure and in varying remote conditions.
  • Should have the strong IT ability. Should be able to troubleshoot in a Windows environment while in remote locations. Should also be proficient in Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel.
  • Leads by example in promoting and maintaining a safe workplace and holding others in the field accountable to this high level.
  • Can support the workshop for maintenance. Support team members when required for preparation of job and during job execution on location.
