WE ARE HIRING BHS TECHNICIAN (BAGGAGE HANDLING SYSTEM)

What are my responsibilities?

  • Executes preventive & Corrective maintenance accordingly to the instruction given by the Supervisor with full compliance with SOPs and Site Safety rules and regulations.
  • Usage of suitable PPE for work safety; fencing/cover/door opened for any work/reason must be closed immediately after completing the task before the machine is turned live.
  • Carries out periodical checks/maintenance inspections stated on the checklist.
  • Understanding all Electrical / Mechanical Components in the System, fault analysis & troubleshooting.
  • Familiarization with all the Electrical drawings in the Panel & understanding of electrical connections.
  • In case of a baggage jam or any other problem in their work area, they will immediately intervene in line with the applicable procedure and close coordination with the control room.
  • Ensure means of communication through Radio are available all the time and remain in close contact with his supervisor and other staff of BHS.
  • Analyze and seeks continuous improvements in the field.
  • Takes charge of the tools required for the shift's job task and ensures proper usage and maintenance.
  • Adheres to all safety rules and regulations and takes appropriate precautions during working hours.
  • Safety: Will be responsible/accountable for following occupational health, safety, security, environment, and quality.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Process Automation Industry or Industrial Plants with handson knowledge of operations, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting of automated systems.
  • Analytic methods: root cause analysis etc.
  • Reviewing and assessing current processes and deduction of improvements.
  • Understanding of BHS material flow.
  • Awareness /Knowledge of quality/safety procedures.
  • Good communication Skills.
  • The Electrical / Mechanical Technician shall be Industrial Training Institute certified (ITI).
  • Being able to be responsible for a small group of maintenance assistants.
  • Mandatory to communicate in the English language, and important to have worked in different cultural areas adapting to the cultural work ethics.
