KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Create detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for underground utility networks in road and infrastructure projects.
  • Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD) to develop accurate and precise drawings in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Incorporate design changes and revisions as necessary, ensuring that all drawings are uptodate and reflect the latest project requirements.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines within the project team to ensure integration and compatibility of underground utilities with other project components.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (X years) working as a draftsman in road and infrastructure projects, with a focus on underground utilities.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and other relevant drafting tools.
  • Strong understanding of underground utility design principles, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
