Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains BIM processes at all stages of the project.
  • Act as a BIM Coordinator for Transportation department.
  • Verifies that the delivery meets the client's BIM requirements and BEP prior to submission and approval.
  • Verifies that the coordination is performed within the discipline
  • Responsible for maintaining and managing the integrity of a model specific to a discipline (include multiple models).
  • Coordinate and Assist BIM Manager on the overall use of BIM within the Units and for the multidisciplinary Project
  • Assist BIM management team in creating modeling Process and procedures that comply with client's needs.
  • Assist BIM manager in the BIM management processes.
  • Support BIM manager to develop BEP
  • Should be able to make or assist in making BIM Action plans.
  • Provides guidance to designers/modelers on methods and procedures.
  • Maintains and uploads models to the common data environment (CDE).
  • Conduct single discipline coordination processes.
  • Instructs designers/modelers on the single discipline coordination process.
  • Participates in multidiscipline coordination meetings.
  • Participate and lead the department in progress meetings with Clients.
  • Responsible for file naming and development of layer naming as per project guidelines.
  • Responsible for all BIM related requirements on all projects.
  • Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers working on the projects, where required.

Requirements:

  • Have at least 5+ years of experience in BIM and design field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • Preferred Transportation and Infrastructure engineering background, should have sufficient experience in Road, traffic signing and marking and earthworks design process.
  • Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Civil3D, AutoCAD, InfraWorks and Autodesk Navisworks manage.
  • Experience in Dynamo, programing and 4D would be an advantage.
  • Have previous experience in CDEs such as ProjectWise or BIM360.
  • Have knowledge in BIM management process ,PAS 1192, ISO 19650 series.
  • Work experience in a multinational environment would be advantage.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Should also be able to work as a Road designer whenever required.
  • Must have good awareness and experience with Road Standards used in KSA.
  • Should be flexible for work based location, in case any such need arises.
  • Willing to travel for work related requirements.
