Tax Planning

  • Design, prepare, and implement best practice controls, and review processes for tax/Zakat accounting and reporting systems under Saudi Zakat Law, to ensure an efficient tax filing process is developed and implemented across all projects.
  • Identify taxation impact on various international operations and develop practices and processes to deal with local tax considerations for regional offices / practices, to ensure continuous support.
  • Identify and implement tax saving opportunities for the Project Companies / Holding company while fulfilling tax payment/reporting obligations to ensure added benefits to the organisation.

Tax Compliance

  • Provide day to day support to the regional offices and project companies in handling tax, and other returns to ensure compliance with tax laws relevant in the jurisdiction of their operation, whilst ensuring any tax related issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and ensure that complex accounting issues are adequately addressed and handled with Zakat and Income Tax authorities.

Tax Reporting

  • Review the accurate reporting for Zakat, tax and withholding tax returns by the project companies and holding company to ensure compliance as per the local laws.
  • Design, prepare and review reports summarizing taxation issues at subsidiaries and provide periodic reporting to management of tax issues along with proposed solutions so as to ensure the management is aware of any related risks and its solutions

Transfer Pricing


Work with the businesses to develop and implement tax efficient transfer pricing policies for the company entities in the region, to ensure proper processing of tax transactions.


Business Relationships

  • Coordinate with the finance team members in various local offices as well as external legal, finance and taxation specialists and consultants to map impact of local tax laws and regulations on the company's respective local operations as well as its international operations, to ensure a thorough understanding of the existing and new laws of the land.
  • Work with Company's government affairs group, Zakat professionals, and industry/advocacy groups to determine impact to Company and assist in the communication of the Company's position on issues to relevant Zakat authorities.

People Management and Supervision

  • Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes, and projects in line with the organisation's standards.
- oversee the day-to-day work of the team by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and ensure that employees' activities are performed in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
