Adjunct Scientist

Collaborates with Department/Section head and clinical research staff on clinical and research programs/projects.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Advises on scientific and clinical approach and resources for programs/projects in the department.
• Supports clinical research and technical staff assigned to programs/projects.
• Participates in development of research proposals and projects.
• Participates in communication of clinical/scientific results of programs/projects in publications and presentation.
• Participates in preparation and review of manuscripts and research proposals.
• Practices Good Research Practice (GRP) guidelines.
• Facilitates training and education within the unit.
• Participates in Department/Unit specific and Hospital wide quality improvement plan preferred.
• Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
• Participates in self and other's education, training and development, as applicable.

Education:

Doctorate Degree (PhD, MD, DDS, or DVM) or equivalent degree in scientific discipline relevant to the research field is required.

Experience Required:

Six (6) years of directly related experience post-doctoral degree required.

Other Requirements(Certificates):

Scientific productivity must be measured in the form of publications in reputable scientific journals.
